FriendlyCare Shaw Clinic recently opened its all-new, fresh and clean, neat and comfortable facility in San Antonio, Shaw Boulevard, Pasig City. FriendlyCare welcomes its loyal and walk-in clients with multi-range of services including core and sub-specialty consultations, minor surgical procedures, laboratory and diagnostic examinations, family planning services and other health and wellness packages.
The ceremonial ribbon-cutting and clinic facility-blessing was led by FriendlyCare Foundation, Inc. President and Chief Executive Officer, Ms. Teresita Panganiban together with the Board of Trustees including Ms.Maria Isabel Ongpin, Ms. Amelia Alonzo, and Ms. Teresa Ho. Joining them are the FriendlyCare management committee, clinic staff, affiliate doctors, and guests.
The clinic blessing was officiated by Fr. Jery Joseph Valumkunnel of Sta. Rosa De Lima Parish who inspired FriendlyCare with a message to continue its mission in providing health and wellness services not only as an obligation to clients but mainly as a responsibility to God.
FriendlyCare has been expanding its network and range of services with more specialties and service packages to the growing market. Today, it has seven clinic branches in Shaw, Cubao, Masinag, Lagro, Cebu, Davao, and a first birthing clinic in Tacloban.
FriendlyCare Clinic Shaw moved to Pasig-Shaw from its former home in Mandaluyong-Shaw where it served its loyal clientele for 16 years. The new FriendlyCare Clinic Shaw in Pasig City is situated near drug stores, food outlets, banks, and business centers for convenience and accessibility.
FriendlyCare Foundation, Inc., was founded in 1999 as a not-for-profit, non-stock private organization with a founding mission to provide reproductive health services in the context of total family health to the Filipino families. The founding officers of the Board of Trustees in 1999 were Abraham Co, Dr. Jaime Galvez Tan, Aurora Silayan Go, Rina Jimenez David and Orlando Vea.
FriendlyCare Shaw Clinic facilities, operational systems and service protocols are compliant with the standard metrics of the Department of Health and other regulating institutions in the healthcare industry. It is accredited by Philhealth for ambulatory surgical procedures, and by Philippine Council for NGO Certification (PCNC) as a foundation.
