Mindfulness for Beginners

Learn to become more responsive and less reactive by experiencing new ways to be present in your life.

An introductory 3-hour fun and engaging session that offers participants the opportunity to learn Mindfulness practices and skills in a group setting. It aims to let participants discover why so many people around the world are embracing this simple and effective way to help quiet the mind, increase attention, awareness and resiliency.

Participants Will Learn

• Proven techniques that help improve well-being and reduce stress
• To practice mindfulness with guidance and feedback
• To develop resources to help feel more alive in everyday life
• To participate in an open forum about mindfulness meditation and practices

Who Should Attend
Open to all who are willing to learn mindfulness and engage with the present moment. The program is recommended for those who are considering to enroll in other FriendlyCare Mindfulness-Based Programs.
